Steve Grady Farms

Steve Grady Farms is a family owned and operated farm located in Mt. Olive, N.C. Steve and his wife, Betty, have two sons, Stephen, Jr. and Stuart.

Steve farmed with his dad for approximately 15 years. They raised cattle and hogs, grew tobacco, hay and row crops until 2001 when Steve's dad passed away. Steve continued the operation and, in 2004, Stephen, Jr. became an active part in the family farm.

Currently, the Grady's grow tobacco under contract with Phillip Morris and Universal. The hog operation is under contract with Goldsboro Millling and the poultry under contract with Carroll's. The Grady family operates a cow/calf and stocker operation. The cow herd has Angus, Hereford and Angus/Hereford-cross genetics. The cows are bred to all registered performance proven Angus bulls.

The Grady family's agricultural goals are "to utilize the land we tend, to get the most out of it, while leaving it better than we found it. We also strive to produce high quality beef, creating a reputable product so we can keep up with soaring input costs."
