Dennis Francis and Sons

Dennis' grandfather operated a dairy farm and passed it to Dennis' father. Dennis helped to operate the dairy until 1995. While working in the dairy, Dennis also raised beef cattle. When the dairy cows were sold, Dennis began to increase his beef cattle herd. His two sons, Andy and Blake, have been a tremendous help with the beef cattle operation.

Dennis currently runs a beef cow and calf operation of approximately 130 brood cows. He grows corn silage and hay to feed his cattle. He also grows hay to sell to customers. Recently, Dennis and his sons have begun to purchase registered Simmental heifers and currently have 17 registered cows and heifers. They AI all their registered cattle. Dennis and his two sons run the farm and do all of the work.

Dennis strives to keep high quality cattle. His goal is to continually improve his herd through improved genetics. He strives to have uniform calves to sell by controlling his calving season. He hopes to see his sons carry on the family tradition of high quality beef cattle for many years.
