Buffalo Cattle Company

BuffaloCattle Company is a family owned cow/calf operation located near Clinton, N.C. The Farm is managed by Scott Warren, a graduate of North Carolina State University and native to the area.

Under Scott's management, the 450 head cow herd has been improving in the past two years by culling older and non-producing females and retaining the better heifer calves from the herd. The herd is comprised of Angus, Angus-Hereford, Red Angus and Charolais cross females. They have been using performance tested Angus and Red Angus bulls. However, they are going to all Angus bulls this next season.

Hay for the herd is the only crop harvested on the farm. The top priorities of Buffalo Cattle Company are their love for the land and animals, pasture management along with wildlife habitat and preservation.
